June 8, 2017: Sara Currie Boileau writes "Today, the most wonderful pair of girls paid me a visit in order to present me with $70.00 that they raised for TAAG over a couple of days. Thank you so much Bailey Spooner and Brook Hache for your compassion for the animals, your drive to raise some money for them and your kindness for wanting to do something like this in the first place. You are truly fantastic girls!

Their donation will go toward Cinderella's (Ella's) spay so that she'll be ready for a new and loving home.

June 3, 2017: Garage Sale Note from Cheryl: A Big Thank You to all the wonderful supporters of TAAG who donated, supported, and volunteered to help with our successful Garage Sale - Samantha Dicaire, Jenny Martel, Darlene Goodmurphy, Marilyn Trumble, Tony Dicaire, Cheryl's husband Randy. A special thanks to Max for bringing the tables and staying to help set up in the morning and coming back to get them also. Thanks Marisa Rougeau for coming in from Goulais and helping out all day, Danielle Marie for being cashier all day, and Marilyn's husband for doing a dump run. Also Happy Birthday my Friend Christina Dilanzo from way above. Thought of you today, as the day progressed.....If I forgot anybody listed above please let me know and I truly apologize.

March 2017 - TAAG would like to thank the kind folks at the Community Care Access Centre for their generous donation of canned and dry cat food!! Donations like this are extremely helpful since they allow TAAG to direct more of funds to the vet care of the feline guests. 

March 2017 - Big thanks to Tomas and his mom for baking cupcakes, selling them at school and donating proceeds to his furry friends at TAAG! It is young people like this who will make our world a better place. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity, Tomas!

March 2017 - Big thanks go out to the generous customers of Pet Valu Cambrian Mall. They continue to donate food and other needed items to TAAG's shelter. These donations are so crucial as they help TAAG to focus on paying the medical vet bills. Thank you!!!!

February 2017 - Thanks   for their donation of canned food for the hungry cats. 

January 21, 2017 - Thanks to a very thoughtful wedding couple, Courtney and Chris Collins for their generous gift to TAAG. The couple was married Saturday January 21, 2017. During their reception, each time someone tapped their glass requesting a kiss between the bride and groom, a donation of $20.00 was designated to help the animals at the The Animal Assistance Group - TAAG shelter. The generous wedding guests raised $340.00 which will go a long way in supporting the homeless pets. 

                   

January 2017 - A big THANK YOU to Walmart for the generous donation to The Animal Assistance Group - TAAG. Darlene Goodmurphy, one of the shelter volunteers, applied for the generous grant to assist in the rescue efforts at the TAAG cat shelter.

                    

January 2017 - HUGE THANKS to  for holding a FOOD DRIVE for the cats and kittens of the TAAG shelter. Along with housing cats in need of homes, PetSmart has been a GREAT support with much needed supplies, food, and donations to help the shelter continue its good work for the homeless animals that come their way more and more. 

December 2016 - BIG THANKS to customers of  Cambrian Mall who donated very generously to TAAG. A substantial amount of food and treats was picked up and will go to the TAAG shelter to feed our hungry cats and kittens. The shelter could not survivie without your generosity. THANK YOU!!!

December 2016 - A BIG THANK YOU to Luck Chiropractic Clinic for collecting $56.66 in the Coins for Kitties Jar. 

November 11-13, 2016  held their national Adoption Weekend and TAAG was one of the charities involved. Luna was adopted to a couple in Thessalon and will have a ShihTzu for a playmate. Seven books of Christmas tickets were sold, lots of treats were handed out to the kids attending and about $75 in cash donations was received for the pets in TAAG's care. TAAG's Giveaway winner was Jen B and she was thrilled with her kitty basket as she has a new kitten in her family. There were many inquiries about TAAG as a whole. Thanks to everyone who gave their time for this event.

                                               

October 30, 2016 - Michaela and Rylee celebrated a joint birthday party today, 7 and 8 years old. Instead of gifts they asked for donations for TAAG. They received everything here plus a total of 40$ in monetary donations. These awesome little girls want to help the cats and kittens coming in before it gets to cold to survive outside. Michaela aspires to work with animals by taking care of them. And Rylee is just a generous soul who wants to help whenever she sees a need. We will be dropping this off Tuesday evening, because of Halloween on Monday, and we all look forward to meeting the furry little creatures who will enjoy these items.​

September 11, 2016 - Cheryl says thanks to everybody who donated to the yard sale, and to those who came out to help support the furbabies. Cheryl gives special thanks to her husband for getting up at 6 am to make tables and help setting up all day. Thanks Elaine for staying the full day. Thanks Sam Dicaire for coming out at lunch time and helping pack. Thanks to son in law Mike. Thanks Aria for coming after work with truck and helping at the end and also going to get feral kittens we set traps for. The sale made $322.25 in support  of the TAAG cats and kittens.

September 7, 2016 - Big thanks to MYLES, a very kind-hearted 9 year old who puts the needs of others first, people and pets. Myles held a lemonade stand and raised $156. He decided to donate $78 to The Animal Assistance Group - TAAG and the other half to the Canadian Mental Health Association. Thank you very much for your generosity Myles.

August 23, 2016 - Special thanks to SHAWN RICHARDS for the generous donation made to TAAG in memory of his brother DARRYL RICHARDS. This kindness has enabled The Animal Assistance Group to spay and neuter the 4 month old kittens Licorice, Felix, and Mouse. This also has given TAAG the opportunity to send to the vet TEN (10) little kittens for Wellness exams, felv testing, and shots so they can be made available for adoption as soon as possible. Thank you so much for thinking of the homeless animals at this difficult time for your family.
 

July 8 & 9 , 2016 The TAAG Used Book Sale raised $960 to help the animals at the TAAG shelter. Thanks to everyone who donated their time and books to this fundraising event. Thanks to the loyal customers and the staff at the store. Pet Valu Cambrian Mall generously houses countless TAAG cats available for adoption, succeeding in finding many loving homes. Thanks to the loyal customers and local business partners for raising over $1000 in cash that will be donated to The Animal Assistance Group - TAAG. Also donated was over $700 in canned food and supplies for the Elgin St shelter during Pet Valu's National Pet Appreciation Month. 
 
 
 
  • Sunday, April 24, 2016 - Thanks to Donna and Bob Berry of The Skeleton Key Used Bookstore at the The Mill Flea who have been collecting donations for TAAG. A couple of young tabby sisters (April and May) joined them at the market and made many new friends. Donna and Bob made a very generous monetary donation today which will go a long way in helping the homeless cats at the shelter!
     
  • Thanks go out to the Grade 3/4 Class (Ms Matteau) at Isabel Fletcher Public School! They generously donated food and supplies for the homeless pets at TAAG at the beginning of April!!!! You have made many furry friends very happy!!
     
  • February 29, 2016: Thanks to Trish Szcyrek along with her daughter (fostering TAAG cat Mittsy), as they held a Cupcake Day bake sale at Prince Charles with proceeds going to TAAG. They raised over $200 for the shelter cats.

   

February 15, 2016: Thanks to Aydan Ethridge for his generous donation to the homeless cats at the TAAG shelter. Aydan’s mom (Ashlee Pittendrigh) writes that Aydan collected much needed items at his 6th birthday party, as he wanted to help make the cats happy while they stayed with TAAG until a loving home is found for each fur baby. Generous Aydan has proven he has a great concern for homeless animals. Thanks from all your furry friends, Aydan.
