Cinnamon is a spayed female brown and orange Tabby short hair who is very quiet, and can be very shy and timid. She is approximately 7 years old and gets along well with the other cats.

Update August 17, 2016: Colleen, one of the shelter volunteers writes: "Hello, my name is Cinnamon! I was around a year old when I came to TAAG about six or seven years ago! I was living outside and struggling when a very kind lady found me and brought me to the shelter, and I have been here ever since! I even had a litter of kittens when I first came to TAAG but they made sure to get me spayed right quick after my kittens were old enough to go off to their own forever homes. I am pretty shy, especially if I don’t know you, but once I know that I can trust you I love to get lots of pets and attention. Oh, and wet food. I really, really love wet food! Sometimes the other cats look away from theirs for a minute and I can swoop in and eat it up before they know what’s happening!! That’s the best! I’m very quiet and I like to sit up high and watch all the action…these other cats can be pretty funny sometimes, and the humans too! They seem to like to scoop up our pee and poop a lot, and some of them talk a lot! I think there is even a picture of me laughing at a joke a volunteer told me! I get along really well with other cats and I have some favorite snuggle buddies, like Razz and Robin. My most favorite friend to spend time with and snuggle was Miss Kitty who sadly passed away recently, and I miss her, but I try to keep an eye on things here like she did. I’m what you might call a ‘free roam’ resident at TAAG and I don’t have to ever stay in a cage because I get along well with everyone and am very laid back. I might hide at first when a new person comes around but I am really very affectionate once I get to know you and would love to have a forever home of my own. I have spent almost all of my life at the shelter and I love the volunteers who snuggle me and feed me and talk to me, and I love the other snuggly cats, but it’s not the same as having my very own special person to love me. I just need that special someone to realize I am their very own special cat and who will be patient and kind with me as it will take time for me to get used to a new home. If there was another cat or two already there that are easy going like me that would be great, or maybe my special person will adopt one of my snuggle buddies with me! The humans here tell me my soft fur is perfect for pets and my unique brown and orange coloring is beautiful. Oh, and in case you were thinking to yourself that you recognize me from somewhere, I am one of the models on the top of the TAAG facebook page!(But don’t worry, I haven’t let that bit of celebrity go to my head. I still bathe one paw at a time like all the other cats! hee hee) If you can, come down to the shelter and see me, maybe we belong together!"
