Dawn came to the shelter with Robin as adult females who are a little shy. They have come a long way and are doing well socially and spending time getting attention from the volunteers.

Update August 2016: Colleen and Christine, volunteers with the shelter write: "Hello everyone, I’m Dawn. I have been here at TAAG for years and years and years with my sister Robin. We were even at the old TAAG shelter! A really awesome police officer saved Robin and I from having to live outside and brought us to the shelter to be taken care of. I was pretty shy when I first came here but now I am practically a social butterfly, and I love, love, love when the volunteers and visitors here pet me. It makes me so happy that I sing and sing my favorite purr and knead my tiny paws. One of the volunteers here says I’m a dainty little dancer! I like all the cats here at the shelter, but my most favorite is my boyfriend Razz. He’s really the cat’s meow! We love to snuggle together, especially in the neat drawers the humans here put up on the walls for us. Those are my favorite places to nap! Check out the picture of us below! I’m a very gentle kitty and I’ve been told I have a nurturing personality. I just like to make sure all the humans and cats are happy here, and if someone, human or kitty, seems sad I will give them lots of headbutts and snuggles. I’m very easy going and quiet, and I love to lounge around. I really like it here at the shelter, but what I want most in the world is to have my very own home with my sister Robin. The world would be too scary if Robin and I didn’t have each other!!! We just need a quiet home and a special human who will understand when we are scared at first and be patient with us if we hide. Also, Robin and I have a special adoption rate for the both of us, so you even get a deal when you pick us!! You should come down and visit us and I can sing for you and maybe you can give me some pets. I’ve been told my fur is really super soft and perfecting for petting."
